Setting the tone

As it is World Down Syndrome Day next Thursday 21st March, the Down's Syndrome Association asked me to write a piece for them about people and their response to finding out a baby has Down's Syndrome: us, our family, and our friends.

After they asked me it took a week to really filter through my mind, what I wanted to write, and how I wanted to write it.

Here is the piece up on their website and facebook page today and it is called "Setting the tone". I feel it is one of the pieces I have written that I am most proud of.

My family really love it too, and Coraline’s Godmother. My younger brother really helped me with the structure of it after my initial draft so a big thank you to him.
