Heart surgery three years ago today

Coraline popped into our new @coralineskincare shop after preschool yesterday to see Kev on opening day.

On today’s date, 2nd November, three years ago Coraline had open heart surgery at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. She was 15 months old. They repaired two holes in her heart and a leaking valve. Coraline was diagnosed at birth with AVSD (Atrioventricular septal defect). About half of babies born with Down’s syndrome have a heart condition.

We are so grateful to the Evelina and their expertise and the deep care we received. We were home in less than a week. Thank you @habbsy77, we treasure our relationship with you.
