I was telling an 80 year old lady on the bus the other day how Coraline eats octopus. She said she’d never had it in her life, and didn’t expect she would for the rest of her life. (I always have conversations on the bus whenever I’m with Coraline!)

I feel really lucky and grateful that Kevin has such a knowledge and passion for food, cooking, ingredients and nutrition. I feel like Coraline really benefits from this. I am learning a lot too. He really cares about what she eats.

He also has high expectations of what she’ll eat (this week it’s various things + sorrel!) Kevin and I both also know we’re very lucky that Coraline eats everything, and loves food. At the moment she eats with her hands but we are trying hand over hand spoon feeding, or just leaving a spoon on her tray, so she gets a sense of this.

Here she is sampling one of Kevin’s lunches at our neighbours’ house last month (prawns, avocado and black rice I think) #toddlermeals #toddlerfood
