Next big challenge?

This week’s blogging question, “What’s the next big challenge that you think you will face with Coraline?”

I think it will be finding groups and activities that Coraline likes now that we have moved house.

It’s something we were thinking about anyway as Coraline mostly enjoys her musical toys, and musical books wherever we go and she prefers to sit with them whatever the setting or venue we go to instead of exploring whichever setting we are in.

It’s something we are learning to sit with, as it’s what she likes.

So I think the balance for us is taking her to different places, whilst taking into account her sensory needs (not too busy or noisy). And also the challenge is us realising, it’s OK if she just likes pressing her musical toys and books wherever we take her, as they are her love at the moment.
