Cat!

I recently met Coraline’s lovely, warm new key person at her preschool who is with her 1-1 now (it’s a new development that Coraline now has 1-1 support).

She said she’d noticed Coraline loves cats in books. Coraline’s only word at the moment is “cat”. Upon telling me this, she opened her apron pocket and revealed a small plastic cat she keeps in there all day, I guess just because Coraline loves it #firstword #downsyndrome
