Wow!

Monday blogging question: “tell us something your child did that made you say ‘wow’ recently”

This is Coraline before preschool on Friday. In her cat top. Coraline has one word - “cat” which she only uses if she sees a cat in a book or on TV or hears it in a song. What I mean to say is she uses the word purposefully.

After preschool on Friday I wheeled her round to our wonderful old neighbours’ house. Outside their house she said “cat”. I was amazed! They have cats who Coraline spends time with when she’s round there. For me this was recognition from her on so many levels - she knew whose house we were outside and she remembered they have cats inside. It was basically really awesome!
