The First Anniversary of launching Coraline Skincare

Coraline Skincare is one year old

Our small business of handmade organic soap @coralineskincare is one year old today!

I see each day how Kevin loves running the business, and the love he has for organic and natural ingredients and for our customers. Thank you everyone for supporting us.

100% organic or sustainably wild, and 100% natural ingredients

When our daughter Coraline was born we discovered she had very sensitive skin. Her skin often reacted badly to many products such as shampoos or sunscreens which claimed to be natural and organic.

My husband Kevin had been making soap in his spare time, so we decided to use these on Coraline with an immediate positive effect. We realised that others with dry, sensitive or itchy skin who found their skin reacting to products, could also benefit from our soaps. So we decided to start our own company using only the most beneficial and moisturising organic ingredients we could. Kevin’s background as a chef has means he is passionate about the quality of ingredients used.

I have learned from Kevin that a product can say it is organic even if it only has a few organic ingredients.

All our soaps are natural, vegan, and handmade in small batches by Kevin. Our soap ingredients are 100% organic or sustainably wild and 100% natural. There is no gluten or dairy in them at all which can trigger reactions. Whatever the skin type - oily, maturing, sensitive or dry - Kevin has made the bar to suit it.

We actually use the soap to wash Coraline’s hair. And as they have no stabilisiers or preservatives they can be used to wash the face as well as hands.

We are proud to donate 50p from every product we sell to Small Steps. They provide early intervention for children who need a helping hand. They are a free service for parents, and a registered charity. Coraline benefitted from attending weekly classes with Small Steps for over a year between 2020 and 2021.
