About Coraline
I’ve joined a group of mum’s to answer a Monday question. This week’s is: “talk about your child”.
I think you’ll find Kevin and I love to do this! This is Kev and Coraline out to breakfast. Whenever we are out and about people love Coraline. We have to bring lots of toys, books and the ubiquitous rice cakes to keep her occupied when we are out at mealtimes. We’ve recently developed a real taste for going out to breakfast.
She goes to preschool three mornings a week and I drive her to speech and physio groups. I am proud of all she does! She loves our wider family and friends, and they her in equal measure.
There’s a centeredness and a joy about her which I fully appreciate when we dance to the radio sitting on the bed upstairs. I feel the beauty of her in my moments with her. She possesses a loveliness and that is her essence. I try to be the best mum I can, by being a calm presence she can come back to, nestle in to, know is always there. Kev is the wild and funny and hilarious one. We both are very affectionate with her. We speak to her in positive terms and encourage her and do all the homework we’ve been given by speech and physio!
Just this past week there’s been a flutter as her hands have briefly left mine when she’s stood up against me. It’s the beginnings of something big!
Talk to me about Coraline. In essence, Coraline is beautiful.
