I've joined a group of mums to answer a question each Monday!

This week's question is, "As a parent, what are some ways I can teach my children about inclusion, disabilities and differences?"

Well, a big thing Coraline has taught me is to widen my whole field of vision. See everyone! One thing I would do now, which she's taught me, is just go up and say 'hi' to anyone! We are all connected.

That's what we, as a family, would say in answer to this question; if you see us, come over and say hello.

I think knowing people leads to familiarity, leads to shifting perspectives. That’s why I write this blog, and that was also a tenet of my work in cultural relations where I worked on projects linking people up across countries.
