Teachers' wisdom
Coraline's first painting from pre-school last week, which she did using a small car to wheel the paint around. It's the first painting she's ever done. It's now in a frame (of course!)
As Coraline embarks on her time in the care of the education professionals, I thought it would be really interesting to share the wisdom of some teachers I used to work with on the eTwinning programme at the British Council. eTwinning links up classes of pupils in schools across Europe and neighbouring countries to do free, online collaborative projects together.
I worked with approximately 100 dynamic teachers who were Ambassadors for the programme as they were passionate about the impact it had in their classroom.
Some of these teachers teach in the field of special educational needs (SEN). I have asked a few of them to write a bit about a topic of their choosing to do with their teaching. I will share their insights in some upcoming posts.
First up will be Ruth in Wales on "Thinking outside the box".
